Where do you get your ingredients?
We love to source through local producers, starting at the farmer's markets every Saturday. When we need an ingredient that's not available there, we shop next through Bloomingfoods (the local grocery co-op) to make sure that we are strengthening the local food system for our whole community. We look for the organic option first.
How many people does each meal serve?
We consider each meal to be a hearty portion for one. Some of our customers tells us that our meals are big enough for two lighter eaters to share. If we are serving a stew or curry, you will typically recieve a 16 ounce portion with 8 ounces of rice on the side. Meatballs are usually 6-7 ounces precooked weight per serving. A hearty meat sauce is usually 8-12 ounces plus pasta.
How are the meals packaged?
Your meals will come in reusable plastic containers that are microwaveable, dishwasher safe, and BPA free. We do not deliver them with any sort of insulated bag or ice packs, so they need to be transferred to refrigeration as soon as possible.

We deliver to most Bloomington addresses that are within 15 minutes of the square downtown. We also come out to Elllettsville. If you live farther out, please check with us to make sure we can deliver to your area. If not, it's possible we can arrange to meet you closer to town on delivery day.
